Stellarune
An action strategy roguelike that improves on the formula seen in MegaMan Battle Network and One Step From Eden — players roll soul dice to cast spells while battling mana-corrupted creatures.

Stellarune is an ongoing indie game developed by Mergician Productions. Players navigate a world corrupted by stray mana, battling creatures using a soul-dice spell system in real-time action combined with strategic elements.
The project draws inspiration from the grid-based combat of MegaMan Battle Network and the deck-building roguelike structure of One Step From Eden, pushing both genres forward with a live action-strategy hybrid.
Three magic systems drive the experience: Fire (applying burn stacks), Lightning (charge-scaling damage), and Aether (defensive and basic attacks). Players use WASD to move and UIOP to fire spells.
My Contributions
As designer and programmer on the enemy team, I built six distinct enemies using Unreal Engine 5 blueprints and behavior trees. I also implemented PVP combat systems, integrated Xbox controller support, and balanced spell mechanics.
